Best place to put up a 1.6 for sale is right here on TBHP and on the Palio Users Group. There seems to be many queries for 1.6s on both fora.

Use the thread The "USED" Car Price Check Thread to check the possible price to quote.

Check the threads on buying used 1.6s to see what TBHPians paid for theirs.

Cheers,

Ohh! forget website and true value quotes. They are not real time, anytime. The ground reality is far from what they claim.

A few BHPians themselves are on the hunt to buy one. Who knows you may seal the deal here itself!

Why don't you share the details of your car? Rest assured, if you place an ad on TBHP itself, you will surely get a lot of calls.

Car I felt and per se I believe is geniune 25k km run, since the brake while I felt firm for that km, and tyres also said so.

Owner has been mostly abroad, so only the less km driven. Asking price was 4 lakh, and now as a final offer is 3 lakh, else he plans to take it to mumbai.
I initially quoted 2.75 lakh. But he will give it for nothing less than 3 lakh, while I called him last sunday. Should I go ahead and buy this, eyes shut as Honda guys say.
Hi Prsn,
IMHO, even 2.75L is too high for a 2002 1.3 OHC, even for a Honda. In Mumbai I have seen much lower street prices, and for 2.5 you can easily get a 1.5OHC. Also, Remember, it is a car 7.5 yrs old, out of production, and many new models have come into the market after the 1st generation OHC. The original cassette player would be obsolete. the stock tyres would replcement (due to aging), and even the rubber and plastics would start cracking some time soon. Not advisable at this price, unless you are absolutely fascinated by this piece. Even in the used car segment, you will find several better options for this money.
And I feel the owner may get a lower price in Mumbai than Banglore.

Just sold my GTX a few weeks ago. Posted an ad on TBHP ONLY and had her sold in less than a week!! The site attracted true enthusiasts who knew what they were looking for and were willing to pay a fair price for the car (read higher than general market price)

Carwale is not accurate at all. True Value - the less said the better.

My sincere apologies.

I am caught up at work (customer visits, team behaving like idiots, customers behaving like team) etc. 9anachronix knows what I go through!) I'll definitely update you all with a reasonable price and some pics as possible.

My aim is to respond to all queries by Friday. Thanks to those who have PM'd me with interest.

Oi, what is this? Not satisfied with one Fiat (semi-Fiat at least) in your stable?

It will be fun having another 1.6 among the Hydeez. KK has one, Anurag has one and now ....Himanshu?

BTW Mad Max - is your 1.6 a Stile or a retro?

@Anachronix - You hit the nail on the head. There seem to be more buyers than sellers for good 1.6 Palios. The operative word here being good.

Cheers,

What is the best price at which i can get a Used Honda CR-V 2007 M/T(new shape)

Hello friends and experts at Team BHP,

I just finished the sale of my car and now i am looking for my next car. I am keen to own a Honda CRV 2007 version (new shape) with manual transmission in Mumbai.

I have been searching for the same across all used car websites, however the prices are Rs. 15 lacs and upwards which make it fairly prohibitive. Considering we are at the end of 2009, i would imagine a 2.5-3 year old Honda CR-V Manual Version (2007) to be valued at around Rs. 9.5-10 lacs.

Request you to kindly advise what is the best price that i should expect this car. Hence i can negotiate a deal accordingly

BHPians,

I was on a hunt for OHC and found one. Its a 1999 model (not sure about the varient), silver colour.

The car has clocked 58000 and is in mint condition. The owner is honda fan and has maintained it quite well with all service records and papers.

The guy is 2nd owner and expects a price of 2.8Lac. I have managed to negotiate it till 2.6lac. He is basically looking for an upgrade to Civic.

I need your advice if this is a good deal and if no, please suggest the source from wher i can get OHC (2000-2003) model in bangalore.

Thanks,
Sary
