not a bad deal but still if you can cut 5-10k its a bargain.check for any dents or rusting and check for the tyres and insurance premium expiry date.

According to Mumbai standards seems to be a bit overpriced for car which has run approx 60K. I tohink below 2 lakhs is a good price.

second hand DICOR 3.0 L

hey guys, i have been planning to buy new safari DICOR 2.2 vtt, but due to fund issues i am holding on for a while. meanwhile i saw used DICOR 3.0. i also took a test drive and here are the details:

Safari DICOR 3.0 LX Passion Red
Oct 2006 Model. Genuinely done 18k Kms, 1st Owner
Comprehensive Insurance piad till Oct-2008
Beast is in extremely comfortable and in mint condition, well maintained.
Fuel Efficiency : not sure
warranty : 4 year (3 years left)
Price 6.25 lacks

Interior:
Grey Color Interiors
Leather Seat Covers (not of good quality, will have to change)
Blaupunkt MP3 Player with amp and subwoofer(Blaupunkt base tube) and speakers
Reverse LCD camera vai bluetooth fitted after market

Exterior:
Stock tyre with no puncture so far
Original Front Fog Lamps fitted from dealer
Engine immobilizer with keyless entry, fitted from dealer

during the test drive i could realize that engine is well settled after 18k kms and is very smooth, little vibration and rattles on low revs but thats fine.

the only problem is its colour, somehow me and my wife we both like black colour only. and it took me long time to convince her for the beast, and now convincing her for the passion red colour would be big pain.

what if i repaint the beast? what are the pros and cons of repainting?
whether i should for used safari or not?
how do you find the above mentioned deal?

Note from mod: Please post in this thread for used car priced checks

Price is little too high.
Used car loans attract higher interest rate.
So check out the EMI for a new DICOR 3.0 and the EMI if you buy this.
As for the price, 6.25 is a little too high for a vehicle with such high mileage.

If the vehicle is in immaculate condition, the price should be around 6L.
Can you take a look at the service history(you can get printout from any Tata A.S.S) and see if any "non scheduled" repairs have taken place?
If you post the list here, it will be easier to see if its really in immaculate condition.

Good buy??

Hi All,

A colleague is selling Pearl silver color Baleno Lxi (2005 Model) . It’s a single owner car and has driven about 15,000/- kms. Car has been upgraded to Alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and rear spoiler (these are the features available in Baleno Vxi). Car is in very good condition and service record is available.

Quoting 4.5 for it.

Good buy?

Vijay

If the details given out are true, then real good buy.
Just keep some money in hand for a clutch replacement (since its a lady driven, and ladies can never ever drive well)

As for the clutch, you better not get it done from Honda. You can prob source a better clutch of the same make for around 3.5-4k. Just enquire with some of the bbay members like VIPER, FORD ROCAM etc who own moded OHCs.
