Team-BHP Car Of The Year 2010. EDIT : It's the Ford Figo!

Voted for the Figo too. I think Ford has managed to position it very well and their preparatory work has been spot on. There are no jarring negatives in either the car or the showroom experience.

voted for the ford figo,
it was a brilliant move by ford to get to the top bracket of the sales chart.
the diesel version makes a very strong case for itself against the maruti siblings.
also with the sales numbers it proves that fords are pretty reliable and puts to rest the common belief that fords are expensive to maintain.
also the pricing insures that there is a figo for every budget.

had the yeti come from a different household i would have surely voted for it.
skoda has pretty much ruined its image in the market with so many people just avoiding a brilliant car for the lack of proper customer support.
buying a skoda can always end up being a very expensive headache.

Voted for the second largest selling car of India - WagonR.

It has almost everything covered when it comes to requirements of a typical urban city commuter:

1. Easy to drive
2. Good on Fuel efficiency
3. High seating ease of ingress and egress
4. Spacious backseat
5. Low on maintenance, cost of spares.
6. Proven Maruti after sales and peace of mind

Iam one of the 2 people to have voted for MICRA . Actually this vote is for the recently launched dCi version of it simply because of the fun to drive nature of this small pocket rocket ! Though NISSAN had ruined its good sales possibility with its bad pricing ;-(

My Vote for Figo.
Ford was a Brand, which people would not even think to buy, bcos of the "high cost of maintenance" badge. When i bought my fiesta also, my frnds would ask why are you buying a Ford.
One single car, changed that thought process for a lot of Indians who want to buy a new car. It's a total VFM good car, and we Indians have embraced it.
Figo is in my radar for my next car!! (Read, Wifey likes it a lot!!)

Would have voted for the Polo or the Aria, but then Figo offers a very impressive all-round package for its price.

Voted for Tata Aria though was a close call between Figo and Aria. Figo lost cos i dont like its look that much. Also Tata surprised me with the Aria and now only if they launch a Prima kind of vehicle in the Altis/Civic/Crue segment!
