Yesterday while on the way to Fortune Nerul, for the delivery of my offfice colleagues Linea.
I spotted a different Coloured Grande Punto parked outside the TATA Passenger Vehicles Dealer. Immedately stopped and had a look at the Vehicle, it was badged "Trendz" the same car & color which was shown in the Auto Expo-2010. Now is it a CNG / LPG no badge or any CNG / LPG Fuel Filler was visible from the exteriors & tried to look inside from the boot, but the parcel tray was a hinderance. So could not say anything on the Fuel type the car supports.
The Seats were having a very sport Fabric with White & Yellow Lining, and apart from this the Interiors were familiar that we are used to see in the Regular Grande Punto.
And above all, it was registered to Concorde Motors, i asked the Dealer personnel from Fortune that do they have any information for this Cars Launch, they surprisingly said NO :)

Looks like its the same auto expo piece that was displayed. 1.2 petrol "dynamic" in golden yellow shade, "trendz" logo and a stereo plus sporty seat covers. Nice spotting!
Thanks Sid, may be the same piece, but in this case seems unlikely because of the fact that, i think that it is registered for a Customer as can be seen in the Pic of the front end. The usual Garlands and the Ribbons are on the Bonnet.
Generally for a Dealer Demo Car it wont have the Garlands & Ribbons.
A delhi dealer sold a few auto expo pieces to customers, so like that in mumbai a customer could have got one here as part of the clearance deal.
Good catch - Is it a limited edition or something thats coming up ? Or its the same piece from the expo? How many pieces did they have in the expo? Also I guess its quite some time since the expo is over, so why are they selling it so late?

I dont think that this is a Auto Expo piece, because i remember seeing the details sticked on to the Dashboard. The manufacturing date stated something like the late 2010 not January that is for sure. Sorry i could not take the pic of the sticker.
And surprisingly there is no advertisement for the launch and neither the other detail pertaning to the Car are available to any dealer. As i tried to confirm the things from the Nearby dealer, but they are unaware.
Oh boy!!Looks good, doesnt it?A good set of shoes & blackened B-pillar would just add to the magic of this car.
Btw why would Fiat display this model-trendz in auto expo if they dont have it in their production line,& then try to sell it?
Anyways lets hope Fiat gets this variant in the Indian market soon:)
Punto Sportz never came out:Frustrati Same will happen with Trendz too.
Listen FIAT, bring on Punto T-Jet Sportz or Punto 1.6 MJD Sportz.
I clearly say those are not for mass market, but for people like upplease:

Grande Punto Trendz is a limited edition 'Active Plus' model. Going by the info furnished at the Auto Expo, it's Punto 1.2 FIRE Active model with trendy decals, colored upholstery and audio system. The model will be available in limited vibrant colors.
FIAT officials at Auto Expo had remarked that it would be launched in some time. But when? remains a mystery so far.
The way they scrapped or rather converted the Sportz version to 90HP version, Trendz may or may not see the light of the day at dealerships.
IMO it should be good move if FIAT decides to bring it on.
BTW, here are the Trendz pics I had clicked at Auto Expo:
@Sheetumanu, The Grande Punto Trendz which i clicked was a registered Vehicle and in all possibilities it was a Customer Car.
Regarding the Grade Punto 90HP Sports, it was not a registered car, it had temp numbers pasted on it, wherever the car was displayed, be it Auto Expo or in the Autocar Performance Show, IIRC.
How can someone buy a car that has not been launched?
If i see it from the person who bought it perspective, On what basis he bought it? A variant for which there was no official launch?
And how are Concorde guys selling it??

The difference in all probability here are some minor Cosmetic tweaks, so the car can be registered as a regular Punto since there are no changes to Engine or the Body.
That color looks seriously yuck. Glad that hideous thing never got to the showrooms.

FIAT need to revive the GTX variant for the Punto with a 1.6 engine.
