Re: Skoda Laura TSi Classic launched at Rs.12.25Lakh

So, did you finally pick up the Classic? I need to find out what the OTR price is for a Mumbai or Thane registration. I got an Thane OTR price of under 13.9L for the Ambiente... Mumbai is more expensive thanks to the stupid octroi one has to pay.
If the savings are significant, then a Classic makes a lot of sense. Need to be careful about voiding any warranties though, with aftermarket add-ons like alloys/ICE.

In places like Bangalore, where tax is close to 20%, it makes sense to take classic and add OEM accessories, even if they are overpriced.

Single handedly, the taxes take away the pleasure of owning good cars in Bangalore.

Agreed. Problem is Skoda now says they cant give the front centre armrest as OE accessory. And without, car looks a bit bare :( Have to check whether any aftermarket armrest can be fitted and how would it look.
