This month the sale of SUV's and jeeps should be good because of elections.

Dainik Jagran has published that in the last week 600 new SUV's and jeeps have been registered by the RTO.

well Times of India has reported that SUV's, MUV's and Jeeps will be the most stolen vehicles till May - all due to heavy demands from our dear politicians due to elections.

So all owners of such vehicles - please guard your vehicles.

I think honda plant is in Noida . I would have preferred Maruti due to local preferences.

Fiat sells 1,817 cars in March

Fiat India, on the back of the launch of new models, saw its sales go up nearly three-fold, from 450 in March 2008 to 1,817 in March this year.

I guess 95% of them will be linea

After Feb spurt, car sales slow down in March

Interesting, see how Merc tries to defend BMW numbers. But we all know who were pushing huge discounts.

I was expecting Linea to touch 2000 mark. Still 1600-1700 is a good figure and shows that customers have started showing confidence in FIAT products.

I hope if FIAT introduces a more powerful engine, the sales will grow tremendously, as the car is very capable of handling a bigger engine.

Still no where near the ANHC which sold around 6500 units .

Good that fiat is picking up , hope they provide good *** . Launch of punto should be catalyst for Fiat.

Honda City-1 sold due to a powerful engine and driving pleasure, City-2 sold due to FE and seating comfort, City-3 seems to be selling due to FE and engine power (though I was not impressed with the car and its TD). So far FIAT is building up the lost customer confidence and in Linea they have a car with solid build and ride and handling quality. If only they give it a bigger more powerful diesel engine to give it more power (which it needs), it can definitely give stiff competetion to City.

Sales of Honda ANHC just goes on to show how ignorant the Indian consumer is.

Can you please tell me another car that has the refinement, power and space to match the ANHC this side of 10L?
