So almost all manufactures have shown decline. well hope this period does not last too long.

Tata 14,327, Hyndai 14,605, Hyundai Just 278 numbers leading. Will it slipped down to 3rd place in December? Well, they have announced discount, so it may retain the spot.

Impressive numbers for ANHC. Let us see if it retains the pace as the initial charm wears off.

Civic seem to be stuggling still. Let us see how it compares with the Corolla Altis sales for Nov.

Have posted the 11/08 figs here:

sales down 24% (year on year or yoy), and 21% (month on month or mom). Here are some small good islands in an ocean of red ink:
City up in 11/2008 but this could be replacement demand (see City figures for 9/08 and 10/08)
To prove this, Corolla Altis back to low numbers.
Ford and Fiat have reported gains.
Call centre sales have collapsed since Sep 08.

Happy analysing!!!

There you go! Vasudeva shows up on time, as usual

ANHC hasn't set the sales chart on first afterall. It's just the backlog, and new model effect. Let us see if it holds on to the numbers in the months to come.

On the other hand Altis has dropped for too low after the initial 2 months. Quite surprising. Civic is also struggling.

Maruti has more or less retained the numbers in the mid-size segment; guess it's the DZire magic. Ford has also improved on the mid-size segment - Fiesta S & New Ikon, probably. Verna seem to be the victim here.

Looks like the Logan is still slipping, to the point of no return.

Just a doubt, are these figures reported by vasudeva the booking figures, or delivery numbers?

Is it only for me or anyone else having problem with no values on Nov2008 column?. For me the Nov-2008 column (column BH) is either null or zero :(

-117 units of Aveo?!
- Fiat guys can rejoice. The dated Palio is outselling Fusion and Fabia.
- I hope Skoda is doing something about the Fabia. That car is sinking and how!
- Is it the return of the Civic or the heavily discounted Hybrid that did the trick? If we consider sales of 100 hybrids last month then the Civic petrol sold only 362 units?
- Skoda sold 282 Superbs. Thats only 20 units less then the Corolla Altis.
