purchase decision

guys i was about to book a santro in 1st week of jan. before that i came across this article

http://autofeed.msn.co.in/pandorav3/...52aae2f3f.aspx

which says that the car scene at this point is not good as people are holding their money for later as there could be price corrections for small cars after the budget. if yes what would be the discount and when should i book my car. i cant wait for long and discount of 10-15 is not a big deal. if anything more than that please guide me about that.

Santro would definitely have lesser than 10-15k rupee difference max. IF at all, there is a budget revision. So, Go ahead, buy ur new year gift!

Well I think I read somewhere Maruti will hike their car prices next month by 10-15k ...I dont see any reason really why you should wait 2/3 more months if you have already decided the car and want to get it soon.

Even I think that there wont be much difference in the price after the budget. Looking at the history it was never more than 10K for small cars. I would not wait for 2-3 months anticipating that discount.
