And what's the fuss really about the upgrade? The basics appear to be the same with a bit of chrome thrown in as garnish. Perhaps Tata could have done it a bit better?
+1 to both the comments from Rigid Rotor. Good scoop but do not see any major value add.

The stickers on the test drive car really spoil the look and could have been more aesthetic looking.

Sid, hows the interior fit and finish? Any improvement?
Exteriors looks the same apart from some chrome around fog's and Elan badge.

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Nice Scoop sidindica. More than anything else i hope the concerned guys at Tata have read GTO's fantastic review, the Manza does most things right except maybe a few niggling issues which crop up and fit and finish in certain areas!
I wonder if we'll see full page ads of the All New Manza Elan just like the All New Civic(with sunroof) ads.

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Great Scoop Sid. I did not find the changes too drastic and more than drawing more buyers into the showroom, it would make the existing owners feel cheated for making their cars out-dated too soon

The cake for me was all the other vehicles in the background. The stockyard filled with NANO's and also the ARIA in pristine white

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Why are tata alloys so damn UGLY

Why couldn't they used the alloys they showcased during the launch?

Interiors look better. But they are a straight lift from the i20 except the seat color. The beige chocolate combo and the places where the combination is present is copied fully from the i20

Methinks that perhaps a 'rear-lift' for the Manza, rather than a facelift, would be what the doctor would order?

I never said the beige-chocolate combo is a property of Hyundai.I just mentioned it since it caught my eyes .No Hyundai favourism or TATA bashing.

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Alloys look really bad, make the looks of the car cheap. They were giving nice alloys for 22k for 5 alloys, should had gone for those.

Not much change but chrome insert on front fog lamps looks cheap addition :(

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Good scoop! At last, Tata is waking up, to take on Etios. But, I don't think that this will make a dent for Etios market. Instead of adding frills to the already good (read sheer VFM) Manza, it would be much better for Tata to improve their A.S.S and take some serious feedback from the owners of Manza.

For the alloys, they looked damn good on Vista. But, IMO, it doesn't suit Manza. Hope they remove the stickers when it comes to sale.

Maruti has already planned to reduce the dimensions of Dzire and it's going to be a good fight - Dzire Vs Manza Vs Etios.
Result: Good for us

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Nice scoop! So they are not dropping the Indigo name as ACI reported.
The alloys are same from the Vista. Do Vista and Manza have same wheel size?

BTW, Sid, any scoop on the rumoured Manza CS? Is Tata really working on it?

Re: Scoop Shots: Tata Indigo Manza ELAN

Is it only me or that now I have failed to notice the tyre size? I have to confirm that are those alloys 14" or 15".

Manza comes with 15 inch wheels but that alloy design is the same as Vista 90 and their limited edition variant which comes in 14 inch wheels!
