I was given a persons contact who deals with used Alloys. He says that he get these used alloys and tyres of different sizes from Singapore/malaysia. Prices ranges from 12k to 25 k for set of 5 alloys and tyres. Tyres will have thread of 90%.

I was attracted with the type of the deal. But whenever I call him, he says that he doesnt have stocks or goods held at Customs. Now I suspect the authentication of this deal.

Have u ever heard this sort of dealings? if so, anyone in Chennai know such guys

Well, why don't you ask whoever gave you the contact? Also, if it works out, let me know! Cheap alloys are always welcome!!!

Yeah, sure. Let me know .But, i'm not paying over 10k for a used set unless its an exotic brand like BBS,OZ,etc..

In Singapore, they have very strict norms where the car's life span == 5yrs
So, before they scrap the car, they sell the parts at dirt cheap rates to these guys.

They inturn get it to India, You need to careful...But 25k for a 2nd hand alloy is way ahead...and not worth a deal......

would prefer not to pickup used alloys .....

there are lot of fake ones in this business, they are talking on the same line but selling refurbished, one of my friend had a bad experince he found a crack aftr 20 days of installation and another friend who gt the gud deal its running great last 8 months, so all I Can say is be careful,

please try to avoid buying second hand rims...most of the time they are defected (they don't have a warranty too).

Any idea about used alloy providers in bangalore?
