Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

5.49 lakhs!!! Sounds like very good VFM for a 1.6L sedan. However, where does that leave room for a 1.6L Figo, if its coming as rumoured?

Ford has made sure Fiesta Classic wont interfere with the sales of All new Fiesta though!

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Now thats a great deal... (my personal opinion dont expect all to agree)

I frankly do not see much has been reduced in the car. but the price is surely a stunner. As expected the price is a VFM value of the car.

Of course its a good 40K away from either of the entry level sedans a la, Accent, Dzire and Manza.

I am sure Ford will not be able to pull the crowd from the Dzire / Indigo etc.
But atleast Ford had ensured people will give a second thought about Classic before one considers Dzire/ Manza. Thats almost half the battle won.

I would frankly prefer out going model being low priced and sold than it being phased out.
Great going...

Great Pricing from Ford!! Fiesta Classic could make a dent in sales of Figo to an extent and definitely pull waiting buyers of Etios too!!

No offence but Boss the resale would go for a toss if this happens to every car !!

Re: Spark model variants rejigged; Fiesta "classic coming April 7

That's really a mouth watering price for Fiesta. But 5.5 is for the base version and couldn't find any mention about the engine spec. So can we safely assume that it's coming with the same engine as the previous Fiestas? Anyone have more data on the exact pricing of the different models of Fiesta?

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Any one got features and final prices yet?
I would love to see how much prices have been reduced Vs features reduction.
Last I heard that Fiesta was discounted upto75-80k, is the price even more reduced?
Can anyone do a comparison?

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Ford India website does not list anything about Fiesta Classic yet. The reduced price will definitely affect the 'now' became rivals like DZire and Etios, whatever the extent it be.

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

SXI version is same as older version except, no leather seats instead dual tone fabric, changed Mp3 player (at least by the look of it). But prices for SXI is missing!

CLXI aka old ZXI without ABS. Comparing the prices (supplier pricing) to last year (when I bought) there is reduction of 4K against CLXI/ZXI and 31K against EXI/LXI model!

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Just seen the attached Pdf above. I think the CLxi is a decent buy.
ABS/EBD and Airbags available only in sxi version.
But if a person is thinking of buying a Fiesta Classic sxi, he can very well stretch a little to buy a new fiesta.
I think it will be prudent to wait for sometime and look out for special offers from ford for even the Classic.
I got my Ikon on a good discount and I think there will offers even on the Classic.
Just wait, watch and make a move

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Nice pricing, but would like to see the interiors and the features provided in the top-end SXi. Personally I wouldn't mind buying the Classic at the new price, if the features are retained for top-end

This will also mean that the new Fiesta will start out somewhere close to 7.5 lakhs for base model. Fingers crossed on the new Fiesta.

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Looks good move by Ford but not sure how much it will work. Though prices are reduced, its still little above others like DZire, Manza, Accent, Etios etc. People may choose it over Accent for old design & Etios for its waiting periods. Difficult to beat DZire & Manza though. Ford should have reduced prices little more by say 30 K. Then it would have made better deal

BTW, what will happen to Fiesta's special editions now? Will they continue with classic ?

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

The older Fiesta 1.6 SXi was around 8.1 Lacs on road in Pune after discounts last month, if I recollect it correctly.
How much is the Fiesta Classic 1.6 SXi on road in Pune now?

@ Mustang!

The Fiesta Classic has the same gearbox as the Figo or it retains its sweet old gearbox?

Re: Ford Fiesta Classic Spotted

Hello everybody,

How do you like our old-new VFM offering ie. the Classic?

I read the above comments and it seems good.
