I got through to Phase 2. So can any any one share their experience with us if they have ever participated in the previous competitions?

I got the message too. Had score some 84% in Phase 1.

Took a slot for Monday 1215 at Mandovi Motors, JP Nagar.

Let's see how they go about it!

Registration seems to be closed already but I took the online test anyway just for the heck of it. Got 100% in the first attempt, in 10 minutes and 52 seconds.

A few observations:
- Some questions are repeated. One particular question appeared four times.
- Spelling mistakes: "Breaks" instead of "Brakes".
- One question was absurd. "Section 130 of MV Act pertains to?". How can common people know law sections? We should know the law, but to expect people know the exact section number is absurd IMHO.

But here is the most absurd thing: The result page URL! The URL is like this: Young Driver 2011
(you can change the parameters in the query string in the browser address bar to see whatever result you want

Today I recieved an email from Autocar Young Driver Competition 2011 informing me that I have qualified for round two of the competition.

I tried changing string value in the address bar of my browser and each time it gave a new value.It was very strange!

Phase 2 here I come !
I chose Apra motors, Gurgaon. Then I remembered the old thread where the members were not happy with particular venue. I can only keep my fingers crossed :\

Hello everyone. I have been shortlisted for the Phase 2 for the second time. As you must be knowing by now, just register for the skill test. You will be required to drive on the simulator during that skill test. Do not forget to carry your driving license when you appear for the skill test.

All the best to my fellow bhpians who have got shortlisted for the Phase 2.
