Land Rover Discovery Sport 2.0L Petrol BS6 priced from Rs. 59.99 lakh

The Land Rover Discovery Sport is now available with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre petrol engine. The SUV is offered in two variants - S and R-Dynamic SE with prices starting from Rs. 59.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Discovery Sport comes with a slightly reworked exterior. On the inside, it comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The SUV gets a Clear Sight (camera view) IRVM, wireless charging, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot and a fixed panoramic roof.

The 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It produces 247 BHP and 365 Nm and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

Both evoque and the disco sport are priced soo close to each other and have the same engine... Wondering what effects this will have on the sales of these models also turbocharged downsizing will eventually kill these models only to be resurrected by electrification
