Spoke to one of the top rally drivers and the following is a rough info on the mechanism:

Group N+ does not have the whole booster part itself
While most top drivers in Group N disengage the vaccum pipe to make it inoperative (so there you...)

This aids in LFB (Left Foot Braking). Also with booster "on" braking is not progressive - it is either "on" or "off" with booster.

Brake mechanism is pretty much stock with standard discs and calipers.
Only Gravel and Tarmac pads from Mintex and other brands.

Group N+ gets Brake Bias Controller.

Hope this helps.

Experts / Others - if any correction is required - please let me know, we can get this post corrected.

Re: An Experience of a lifetime - A drive alongside professional rallyist.

Great post, and an absolutely delectable set of pictures which really cover the event completely.

Reading through, watching the videos, going through the pics was as good as being there, not quite though, but figuratively yes.

Many thanks dhanushs and swiftnfurious!

Sad as swiftnfurious mentioned about the most Cedias giving up, well the mods do come at a price, and like they say: you do compromise overall reliability of a car with mods. It's a inversely proportional relationship shared between mod levels and reliability levels.

I would've been glad had dhanushs voiced his silent concern about poor marketing in India to Mr. Wada.

They advertise it to be the 'legendary' Cedia, but take minimal or no effort in furthering it's lineage and promote it consistently.

Many thanks for this once again!

Tagging GC and khoj here:

Awesome and that Evo X is worth dying for. Thanks a ton for sharing.
BTW, if not the EVO then have you guys asked Mr. Wada if they atleast have plans to launch the Lancer itself on which EVO X is based? That itself would be a hoot to drive.

We did ask about the future plans and Yoshiaki-San said they might come up with some new SUVs. No mention of any new Lancer. And out of that Outlander D is also ruled out.
