Lewis Hamilton is scheduled to perform stunts on NICE road Bangalore on 27th September!! It is to be held near bannerghatta road.
However, only 300 "by-invitation" racing enthusiasts will be accommodated!! :Frustrati
Any idea as to who might be invited??

What I know is Vodafone is organizing this event. I so badly want to see the Lewis perform the stunts on the 2010 F1 car. Any info about the invites?
Close watch on this thread. Any leads how to get into the "by invitation" list ? Beg, Borrow, Steal ??
According to my contact, the event is solely organised by Vodafone and has no affiliation with FMSCI or any sporting bodies.
You can SMS "LEWIS" to 56300 to get an invite to the event. You will receive an SMS back which is an invite to the event. I am not sure whether there are any invites left as the numbers are restricted to 300.
A section of 500m which is not utilized by the public will be used for the event. The exact co-ordinates of the event on the NICE road is not yet known.But will be receiving that info in couple of days.
Anyone with deep contacts in Vodafone, we can get a T-Bhp special invitation done :)
I sent a test to LEWIS to 56300 and got a reply saying Vodafone invites you to watch lewis on sept 27th at 10.30AM show this sms for entry.
That is just sad news!!

Got an SMS invite saying 'Show this SMS for entry' ..Is it an autoresponder? :)
That road will be jammed for sure.
Not sure about vodafone, but we are trying with another source.

My cousin tried from Vodafone, he got confirmation!! :D
I too got the confirmation after the SMS. Not sure if its the entry to the event or just an auto responder.
I too got instant reply SMS as confirmation. I doubr if this is the official entry confirmation since the reply was instantaneous.
Will they really check all SMS confirmations at the venue of all those thousand of people who will turn up.
Also will they check if sender of SMS is really theirlol: server and not your close friend who got confirmation!

Hope this is not just a auto reply and finally when you get in, they say, 300 people who got these messages are already in so better luck next time.

Well, if you want to fake it, you can fake it. Save your friends number same name as the auto reply sender. By this sender and msg looks pretty much genuine :).
Now what else can they check..?
I dont understand how they are going to control the crowd entering this area.
I vision its going to be crazy - like the drag events. Anyway I could be wrong
