Hi Jitu,

Congrats man. Finally showed the Bangy boys that Bombay guys are as good if not better at doing up cars and racing. You have made us and TBHP proud.

Hey wheelie boy was that you in the chaetak doing that amazing wheelie?
I have a small clip of that -http://rapidshare.de/files/18732905/MOV00011.3gp.html
The SBK's event was very good but nothing much to see in cars to see except for the Supra.

Well it was one hell of a run today ..

To start with the supra clocked a 12.37 and bagged the 1st place .. Raj's zen esteem clocked a 13.1 sec ET .. Thats 0.8 secs off the supra ... Shabbir in his zen honda beat a porsche 944 .. Syed set the indian superbike record with a timing of 10.117 on the zx 12r ..

Jitu clocked a 14.3 and won 2nd place in the foreign open .. Psycho's esteem won 1st place in the 1300 FI class .. Wolf must have won 2nd or 3rd place in the 1600 pro stock class , but the results of this class werent announced ..

Well all in all it was a brilliant outing , we are having a champagne filled party tonight celebrating jitu's and psycho's win .. A more detailed report coming soon ..

Totally forgot about leela's VTEC .. In yesterdays practise session it almost took 11 secs to shift into 2nd .. And in the practise run today the VTEC went up against psycho's 8 valve esteem and won by just two car lengths .. In the final run it ran a 14.xx ..

Jhala's pug had some probs , so left us all disappointed .. Cincla's dolly was awesome .. Too bad it didnt get enough traction and kept running off the strip because of the torque steer while shifting into 2nd .. That potentially is a 13 sec car .. Even with running of onto dirt , going off totally on the throttle just to get her back on track it clocked a 15.xx .. Cincla hats off to ur family for the brilliant build .. That car gave us some real shocks and for me it made my day ... In the indian open i think vinod's baleno ran next best to the e-zens ..

JIGAA is the gang from raj ..

Congrats Pyscho! Heard a bit about your Esteem. Good to know it is for real.
Special congrats to Fordrocam. Looks like you used the Bombay 'run as a practice session. Are you still using Allan's wheels?

So basically it was 3 seconds off its claimed quarter mile time? Zen doing 13.1 .. thats great. was it running a 1300, 1600 or 1800?

Ok, no timing lists were put up. In fact, a lot of the timing announcements were done wrong, since they were done by some girl who knew squat about RT-ETs.

In fact, there was no prize distribution for the Prostock 1450-1650 class either. So we don't know where we stand.

Time to P-A-R-T-Y!!!
