The quickest bike clocked on sunday was 10.25 sec



760Li was clocking low 14s - high 13s







Was impressed by the launch of this RS5

Came 2nd in my category. Ran a 13.0 at 161. Beat a rs5, e60 m5, z4 just to name a few in 1/4 mile time. Obviously they were in a different category but there 1/4 mile times were slower than my evo . if anyone has videos or pics please them of the evo thanks.

I am sorry turbo but can you re-post what you have written. It is hard to understand the sentence without the punctuation marks. It would be interesting to know the timings.

Just drove back from the event. Had a total blast. Sure, have a red neck and a pair of red hands, but on the whole an awesome show. Had some fun times with the organizers and drivers. The Y2K is a complete disappointment though.

Some of the highlights:

An RD350 hitting 12s
Two lovely bikes, one under 150cc and the second i believe a 350cc which were absolute works of art!
Ricky on the ZZR14R storing to 10.080 seconds
The R1 from down south going ballistic
Keki and his team dominating the event totally.

Cars thought were a different matter:
The GTR sounds and goes like stink. Makes me want to finish my car quicker. Cant wait for 1100BHP to hit the streets
The Porsche Turbo is surprisingly fast
The two honda's one from bombay and one from hyderabad or something totally killing it on the track. The fastest indian cars i believe. Late 12s or early 13s
The RS5 in the hands of a novice showing real prowess
And last but not least, someone in an Audi Q7 demonstrating how an all wheel drive launch is meant to be done

Flying out of aamby valley in a few days and the moment i reach home the first thing im doing is getting my GTR completed!

Phew. What a day.

This has by far been the best drag meet managed by any event management firm till date. Perhaps Autocar has taken a few pointers for their (now discontinued) speedruns, and hopefully can revive the same on similar lines.

Highlights:

10.8 seconds from R35 Godzilla. Mani/Racetech Automotive are on wonderful grounds here.
10.08 seconds from Ricky Gadson. Panoramic launches, two out of three times. Invigorating, to say the least.
Wonderful jobs from all participating team bhpians.
Decent seating/viewing arrangements for the enthusiasts. Access to all, even if at a price. Wonderful.

Low Lights:

Participation list not earth-shaking. I somehow felt the Autocar pizazz lacking in the entry volumes. Missed the R33 Godzilla sorely, to name an instance. Would've loved to see a sub 9, if the low-density air would have allowed to.

Too many mixes. Like a Verna racing with an import. And then a Getz. Jeez. Ahem.
The 15-second Supra. Erm. 2JZ-not GTE?

RR Phantom. Please. Do the car some justice and leave it be for ferrying royalty.
Oh, and the 17 second GS 300.

No 12 second EVO7 or E-Zen or the likes. A li'l disheartening.

How I wish these things would be held annually again..

Hi Guys,

Firstly it was quite a well run event, a big thanks to Rongom, Reza and the entire crew.

We met some tbhp'ians and good to catch up with, Amish, Jinu, Vivan, Ranjith, Jignesh, Pawan from racedynamics, had a blast.

Madhu in his honda city was insane and also the race concepts honda city was done very well, good job.

Amish, Jinu , Vivan and the entire AR motorsport team are great guys and doing some real good suff.

We ran a Nissan GTR , it was all last minute decision to particpate, full weight gtr our best run was 10.5.

Lets hope for more such events its a fantastic way to spend the weekend.

What were the timings? No chart put up yet? How much did the Evo6 do?
Nice place to have the drag, was there for 2 hours watching.
Spent 3000 to buy 2 passes, wasted, no one asked me for the pass, could move around everywhere, Hope the sponsor can refund the money paid.
