Online registrations for driver selection for the third edition of the Toyota Etios Motor Racing (EMR) have opened. Drivers in the age-group of 15 to 28 and 29 yrs and above can apply for the same. Those with previous racing experience will be at an advantage.

After the first round of online application selection, on ground driver selection will take place in May through a go-karting round, which will be conducted by six-time INRC Motor Rally champion and one-time Formula 3 (India) champion, N. Leelakrishnan.



This will be followed by a final selection round in which, applicants will drive an EMR car at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Drivers with previous EMR experience will be given a direct entry into the final selection round. Participants will be evaluated on various parameters like driving skill, physical fitness, and consistency in lap times.

Toyota wants to encourage more participation from women. The company will waive 50% of the registration fees of selected lady drivers.

Yup. Even for me, its not working. The home page has changed, but clicking the website takes me into 2014.

Apply for ETIOS Motor Racing

1. Download Application form.
2. Download Medical form.
3. Upload the Completed Application form.

General Information

1. All applicant to ensure all fields are filled in the application form.
2. All Participants need to possess a valid FMSCI (Federation for Motor Sports Club of India) Competition license. For more information please refer to www.fmsci.co.in.
3. The maximum upload file size for the driving & FMSCI license cannot exceed 250KB, per file.
4. Medical fitness certificate needs to be attested from a genuine physician. The original copy of the same needs to be carried to the training camp if you are shortlisted.

Criteria for Selection

1. This event is open for all motor sport enthusiasts
2. The groups for selection will be as below:
a. 15 – 28 years
b. 29 years and above
3. All information provided has to be authentic.
4. Final discretion for selection rests with the judges.

Selection Process

1. All selected applicants will be required to attend an on-ground selection camp in the month of May, 2015 at Kari Motor Speedway.The final date will be announced soon.
2. All selected applicants possessing a driver suit with helmet are requested to carry it to the selection camp. However those without,are strictly advised to wear a jacket, full t-shirt, jeans and sports shoes for the selection camp.
3. Selected applicants who are under 18 years of age should be accompanied by a parent to the selection camp. Letter of consent from the parent/guardian is compulsory.
4. All selected applicants will be required to sign an indemnity bond at the selection camp.
5. Valid photo ID proof to be carried.
6. Drivers for ETIOS MOTOR RACING 2015 will be selected based on performance at the selection camp.

Etios Motor Racing 2015

The race will be held at Buddh International Circuit in the month of September** 2015. The final date will be announced soon.
Fee Structure - For final selected participants from the selection process only *
• Registration fees
• 28 years and below - Rs. 50,000/- (non-refundable)*
• 29 years and above - Rs. 80,000/- (non-refundable)*
• Women drivers - Rs.25,000/- (non-refundable)*
• Damage deposit of Rs.50,000/-# (Deposit for insuring damages to car, equipment, facility, etc.)
# The same will only be cleared after the insurance report is submitted ( 5 - 6 months post event ).
• The above fees will be accepted in the form of a DD only.
• Cost to attend camp/race to be borne by the participant

Cash prize for winners of Etios Motor Racing 2015
• Rs. 40,000* for Winner
• Rs. 25,000* for 1st runner up
• Rs. 15,000* for 2nd runner up

Driving Kit for Etios Motor Racing 2015

You are free to carry your own FIA regulated gear. The colour of the suit needs to be preferably red, blue or white. The suit will be inspected by Red Rooster Performance prior to race.
