A rally insurance is *recommended*. Normal insurance won't disqualify you from participation. But, in case, there is a mishap during the drive the insurance company will have the right to not honour the claim. This rule was applicable last year as well.

Confirmed with Vishal Mirpuri. They will be providing insurance coverage for cars participating in the event. No extra charge, they're covering it.

Highly recommended ! I have done this myself a few years back and it was great fun. Moreover, you get to meet a bunch of bhpians to put a face to the screen names!

Registration done, forms emailed to Mr. Vishal and fee transferred to the account mentioned. My son is really excited and looking forward and we are having a competition of sorts on who is more eagerly looking forward to this rally.

Separately, I wasn't able to connect with Mr. Vishal on his phone as my calls went unanswered and my email (sent today) is also yet to be replied.

Since I did not see any list of bhp'ians who have registered till now. I am compiling the same from people who have replied in the affirmative on this thread

At the venue, it'll be hard to meet BHPians we haven't interacted with before. So lets set a meeting point close to the venue and drive together to the NSCI from there.

Lets meet at Mafco on the Worli Seaface at 730 sharp. Sharing the link on Google Maps just to ensure we're on the same page.

We'll then head to the NSCI, meet our navigators and line up at the start line. Flag-off is at 0900 hours.

What say?

That is what they had promised this year, as there will be no pairing. Expect a call in the next couple of days where they will share your navigator's details and the position in the lineup.
