Hey, The rally hit the stages this morning in HP . The last stage of the day had to be cancelled as one of the cars broke down in the middle of the section leaving no way around ..

Prelim reports say that it might be local lad Sunny Sidhu leading by about 6 secs .. Gaurav Gill is somewhere in 4-5th place and may be in trouble as Karandip Singh has lodged a complaint with the stewards that Gaurav Gill blocked him for about 5 kms on one section ... Lets see what comes out fo that ...

Will have confirmed reports later in the day ...

Cheers

Hi guys,
I was there to support Gaurav. Unfortunately his front struts broke and he was on the stock suspension, though he was still giving it his all. I came back last evening but i heard this morning that Karandeep did not finish and if thats true then the championship is still far from over and Gaurav still has a fighting chance.

Go Gill !

Here is Gaurav taking a bend sideways

Hey, The rally ended today ... the final results are something as follows

1. Lohit Urs
2. Sunny Sidhu
3. Vikram Mathias

Karandip & Gaurav Gill , both teh contenders for the CS dropped out so the CS gets even more interesting with 2 events left ..

In the Gypsy Cup , Sanket won followed by Randhawa .. Suresh Rana who was leading Day1 dropped out due to mechanical problems .

Rest I dont remember ... I know that killjoy, another BHPian also dropped out on Day 1 due to mech probs !!!

On to Goa now .............

Cheers

Hey Guys,

It's not two rounds but just one at Goa. The Deccan Rally has been cancelled and therefore Goa will be the final decider round for the five drivers who have a chance to win this years championship. Going to be extremely exciting! Be there!

Hey Chico, thanks bro. Yes it feels great to be back on pace. Big confidence booster. Neither Vicks nor me were great fans of the Fiesta from the beginning. Maybe next year with the 160 BHP engine, the story might be different. And good to see you back in the drivers seat! 1400 cc or rally star?
