Dates for Speedrun 2007 ? EDIT: 17th & 18th Feb

will there be a speedrun in delhi ??? there were rumors about it last year! any info as to if it could happen this year!?

arrey i was hoping the speed run would happen in delhi so we could test our formula student car there
well when do we get the final dates
so i can plan our trip to bombay with the car and see if i can get it sponsored by someone

Why dont you get your car down and try for 1st place in Mumbai as well. Jitu came down to Banglore and also took 2nd place in foreign open, I'm sure he will want to go next year and try for 1st as well. We can have a look at your much talked about ride as well.

There will be plenty of cars from Banglore coming down I'm sure.

hiii guys,,i received this msg from VINITH SHETTY, on ORKUT

The Speed Run 2007 season will start from Feb 2007 onwards. There's gonna be most probably 3 drags this year Mumbai, Bangalore n Hyderabad. Dates are not confirmed yet....but all you guys will be updated on the same soon....
So guyzzz...start with your modding n tuning n make those machines go faster.

did you say hyderabad???, in that case, it would be the first time in hyderabad to have a speed run.

I will have to arrange for a vehicle, is racing a deisel in a drag race a good thing?? how about a merc E280 cdi, considering it has 195 hp @ 4000 rpm and 456 Nm @ 1400 - 2800 rpm. but i have to convince my cousin first... let me see.

get ready to get THRASHED...if it is a stock set up that is.diesel would not be bad but that is considering your running one of those LE-MAN AUDI'S

Are you kidding? 280 CDI would win its class comfortably at Speed Run. You will go into 1800+ class, where there is almost no competition.

Skoda is 1781 cc, so it's sub 1800 cc. Accords are slower than Merc 280 CDIs.
