Naren Kumar in APRC Rally New Caledonia..

Gaurav Gill is not the only Indian in the APRC, Naren Kumar will be participating in the opening round of the APRC in New Caledonia

I just saw the entry list today, Naren is there in an EVO IX, as Team Rally India..

Does anyone know if Naren will be doing the whole APRC season..

well best of luck to him..

you can check out the entry list here.. New Caledonia Rally Championship - Official Website

the battle that Id been looking forward to in the INRC has instead moved to the APRC .... No problem , will be fun to watch them battle it out in them Evo's , though I heard that Naren is still not confirmed as the sponsorship issue is still not sorted out . I hope that it does and he does drive ......

GOOD LUCK TO THEM BOTH ....... may the better man win !!!

Uh Oh, big shunt for Gaurav and the car is a writeoff. Tony's gonna be pissed.

Big congrats to Naren. So JK is sponsoring him afer all. Now their pullout from INRC is excused.

As far as Gill, he needs to calm his nerves and take it easy.

Gill had an off due to a navigator error .... and it was a big off , believe his navigator was unconscious for a while and Gill also got a few bruises though nothing serious .

I guess he will be ready for action in Canberra ... and is infact believed to be going with Jussi Valimaki for some more training .

As for Naren ... he did put in a few quick times but lost out on the crests as he wasn't too used to them . But he did put up a good show !! GO TEAM INDIA .... ;-)

Time to sit and wait for the Canberra round to see what Gill does .....

Gaurav Gill was flapping his mouth quite a bit (from what I heard) the day before his crash - he was basically sneering at the "experience" factor of the others around and thought he would be able to prove a point; unfortunately a tulip error put paid to his plans - and his flapping.

I'm sure he's come out better from the shunt - he's got great talent, no doubt about that!

another point to note. Naren was leading Gill before Gill's crash. In fact Naren was fasters of all on one of the stages.
