Don't worry about the Innova guys, it'l do just fine. I've driven it enuf to know what i should and shouldn't do with it. Any vehicle can be controlled as long as you driving within it's limits.

Anyway, lets talk about the up comming track day. Will it be in April or May?

I guess chennai track is out as the heat is getting unbearable.

Looks like its gonna be Kari speedway now.

stumpy, can we have some news on the trackday? I still have some tread left on my slicks so lets do it before Coimbatore gets equally hot...

Guys who are interested in taking part in a track day at kari , tell me whether you want it to be a two day event or a single day ?? Want to get hold of all the details before i have a chat with Akbar Ebrahim .. Rules are simple , the track day will be only for cars (are there any bikers ??) .. We will begin each day at 9 am sharp with 8 sessions of half an hour with 30 mins break in between each session for the cars to cool down ..

However since i am expecting the turnout to be slightly lower this time as their might not be local participation from the coimby boys the rates might be slightly higher than the MMST .. So all those guys who are confirmed to make it irrespective of the dates and are willing to drive their own cars kindly do confirm .. Based on the numbers alone will I be able to take a call ..

There will be no rental cars this time .. So each of you drive your own cars ..

Yes harrie i was told thus too .. Infact we are planning to organize an event sometime next month only .. Need feedback from a few locals regarding the weather ..

Just as a suggestion: May1st will be off, this is a tuesday. so that might open the possibility of a long weekend on the 28, 29, 30th and 1st.

Far off ?? So you guys only want to travel 40kms to a track day

while we come here from bangalore ?? You might be looking at about 2.5-3k per person for both the days .. Thats if we have a turnout of min 20 .. As the numbers increase the prices drop .. And i dont see it happening anytime this month end as most colleges in bangalore will be having internal exams .. Thats something we cant miss after having missed our 1st internals due to track day ..

Are you holding it in Kari just so that everyone can travel, or is it because it is a genuinely better track?
