The following 3 BHPians Thank jagat nanjappa for this useful post:
Hi Jagat, I have followed your (and your wife's) exploits since I was in Highschool. Great to see you here. If I was in Bangalore, I would have checked it out just to learn how it is done. Although I am not into rallying, I do drive a lot just for fun.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome a childhood (super)hero into out midst. You and your wife are legends, and we've cut classes, earned the wrath of our teachers and parents just to be able to see you guys ride whenever you came down to Cochin. And you didnt disappoint, Lord Roadking!
A little too old to take up your offer now, but I do have a candidate in the making who I'm sure would be interested in this course perhaps next year, once he's learned to ride properly.
I do not know how to react to the welcome. I am quite shocked.
I thank all of you for your warm reactions.
I have a web site but its in the process of being up graded. Anyways you can check it. The site does not contain any details about the school. Welcome to Nanjappas Racing Foundation!
My contact no. +91 94484 79703
Feel free to call regarding the school.
This is the first session. We are going to have more.
Most of the required details are in the thread.
Another big welcome form a rally fan. I've seen you drive RX and Shogun and I must say its a sight to behold.
At the risk of going off topic, we would love to hear from you on how we can revive motorcycle rallying in India. I can remember watching K-1000 flagoff in Bangalore where there were like 15 cars and close to 60-70 bikes. It all came crashing down pretty quick even though we have some great 4 stroke bikes in the market.
Wow, I'm really happy to see you here. You were the first of big names in rallying I came to know of when I started becoming a Rallying fan during my high school years. THe love for rallying obviously continues. Its an absolute priviege While i'm typing this I scrolled up and co-incidentally/obviously you are a high-school hero to MANY others on here! Wow i'm simply delighted !
