Yeah, thought at the last moment that I will give it a try. Was a good experience, inspite of the rubber shaved off from my Bridgestones.

that is thanks to my brother - 6 months drove it without a scratch - he takes it out for one day - and scrapes the car taking it out of the parking lot.

Here come the pics :

1) Enroute to the track - truck piled with sacks of onion, with humans piled on top of the sacks. Man, it was scary just seeing them perched up there.



2. The Suzuki-GSX. As always, awesome bikes. Drool...

4. A lovely looking Mondeo - did not get on track though. It belonged to one of the bikers, I guess.

6. That guy, headers sure has guts. See the tyres he was running on his Zen (soon to be E-Zen). Ofcourse, you should have seen the car as a whole. Does anyone have a pic of it ? How come I missed snapping a pic ?

12. If vikram had not returned to the pit, we would have had some spectacular action between the Swift and this car which got on track to our surprise.

The mondeo belongs to Sawan Gupta - BikerSG (i think) and those are 17 inch OZ rims strapped with 225 profile tires.

Headers, when did u pick up a zen? U actually drove it on track with the tires in that state? thats madness.

I am not sure, but the Mondeo looked like either Sawan's or Sandy's. Though it was neither of them driving it.

If you think that's madness, I am not sure what you would say on seeing the Zen's windshield.

I think he had picked the zen up only a few days ago and did not have the time to spruce it up. I am sure we will see her in great shape at the next track day, possibly with an Esteem engine inside.

Anyway, inspite of the fun I had, I don't think I will be getting on track again with my car. It is not really fun to not be able to push her like she should be, because you are thinking about the damage to the tyres, suspension etc, apart from any other serious damage that could happen due to getting off the tarmac or a collision (God Forbid). I love her too much to subject her to such torture.

I would rather rent a FISSME or track Esteem and enjoy the track.
