That's some serious work under the hood. DOHC and all. I'm sure they changed the gear ratios to match.

For an Indica, the interiors look good.

I don't think so. Only the Indigo XL is DOHC. The Indica and regular Indigo petrols are SOHC 8 valvers.

One suggestion : They must offer tilt adjustment for the steering wheel. Standard Indica / Indigo layout is a tad "truckish" and a far cry from sportiness.

Oh! The One Lac one!

This makes me think again. Tata is moving the Indian automobile scene very well. Now, they have cars in almost every segment or are in the process of making one. They've prepared special sports ready versions of their cars and have ultra VFM cars like the 1L car. See, even C3PO is buying the 1.

Sparco seats / Tacho / roll cage +power windows??

Thats one weird combo. Looks like we have a winner among Tbhpians

Off topic: These are the the kind of Thread starts which we will miss..... :(

Couldn't agree more. Even if it wasn't tilt adjustable but angled to be a inch or half lower.

okay , thats very important - no one seemed to get this fact.

recently the new ish Suzuki head dept said that - "in time" all suzuki s available in the world would be available in india .
Apart from the time factor this sounds great ; would kill for the swift sport or even better [ ? ] the SX4 hatch which is their WRC car

need a track , a circuit , a piece of land - close to Mumbai ; slowly dying here

great news.
finally ther's a rally car for an everyday buyer. but the sad part is if the indica stays like this in the rally version, the driver is gonna go nuts. naturally like u guys i dont like the old tag too... " Touch any plastic in a Tata car & its gonna fall off "
