I was wondering what type of amateur racing series are available here in India. I realize that this may require training schools or licensing, which I am willing to do.

What kind of racing would you be interested in? Circuit racing with stock cars? Or street racing? or circuit racing in formula cars?

Circuit racing with street cars. Not necessarily stock, although that sure would make things easier to get started. I envisioned a class that would allow basic bolt-on's (intake, header, exhaust, springs, shocks) and race that. But a stock series would be fine too, I don't see it being too easy to get a lot of car stuff around here like we can in America...

If you're free this weekend, take the 4 hour trip to MMST,chennai.

anything like this happening in or around pune nitrous. chennai too far to come at on a regular basis.
