That hardly ever happens ananth. My experience as a track day organizer is that lot of people will promise to be there and not even have the courtesy to pick up your call on D-day.

Unlike these official track days held by Farhan and Co, the track days we tried to organize were based on specific voluntary numbers who would split the costs of renting the track out for a whole day. And even if one doesn't turn up the rest have to bear the burden.

While the rates at the MMST are quite expensive for a whole day (40k?), one can practice for half a day for about 1k/car. Whereas such an option is not possible at the KMS where the track can be rented out ONLY for a full day or two.

Last time I organized such a track day, we had poor turnouts, and eventually I had to shell out 3k from my own pocket to cover up for the poor turnout. Until we have good numbers, I think the only track days one can look forward to are the ones hosted by Farhana & Co.

If people were to come out with good numbers, I don't mind putting my hand up and organizing one anytime. But I'd prefer the KMS. Purely because the track is short, fun to drive and is little less aggressive on the cars IMO. For this we would need atleast 20 cars.

I thought SR is happening at mumbai/torquenite scheduled at bangy

for the 27/28/29th weekend.

i think the SR is sometime this month end IIRC. There is a plan of the SR Bangy edition.

i was wondering as to what was goin here , SR means supplementary regulations , ok , now i know SR is speed run .
