The next pay and practice session can be held anytime the track is free...

hey, can anyone tell me how the track day thing works? If the GQ drive goes as per schedule I`ll be driving down to Chennai and wanted to throw the car around the track! I`m salivating at the mere thought of it!

Land up at the track with your car, find out if the track is free. Pay cash (1 or 2k depending on how much time you want), belt your car on track. Its as simple as that. You might have to sign on an indemnity form, thats about it. Its very easy.

I have a question - If i crash my car on the track, will i be able to claim for insurance? Or will we have to shell out the entire costs ourselves? Because i remember reading somewhere that our regular insurance will not cover this.

If you crash your car on the track then you will not be able to claim insurance. Most of the insurance deeds very clearly state that the car should not be used for racing purposes.

Abroad, there have been cases of people claiming for cars "crashed right outside a race track".

You can do what nitrous has already mentioned. Don't forget this is India, as long as you keep the insurance surveyor happy, he will make sure you get a write-off too if need be it.

Hey guys, this sunday there is an R15 grand finale race for R15 owners, will mostly be entering in it.
This will be the first time on the full track with a bike, am really nervous just hope my bike comes out unscratched. Half an hour of practice session and 3 to 4 laps of racing.
Any tips?
