I think the point V12 was making is that the Jag crest is all the XJS came with, and adding a leaping cat to the bonnet was a cheap add-on. I agree 100% with that sentiment!

At the end of the day, I think we will all agree that this event is not a SERIOUS thing (although I am sure lots of guys took it very seriously, seeing the lengths they went to, to lighten their cars and mod them) but instead is a great opportunity to take your car out and legally thrash it, while getting to see lots of other great cars at the same time. So I guess irrespective of who went faster than who, it's nice to have all sorts of cars being run!

While we're at it, why not throw in a Carrera GT and a McLaren F1 as well!

Hi guys,

My first Post here Was searching on the net for info on the Mumbai leg of the Speed Run when i ran into this forum and now m glad i did spend time on tat search. Didnt wanna go to see the Drag this year cuz frnakly speaking last years event was literally a drag (apart frm the supra, the evo n the guest appearance made by a Skyline R32). Read the review for teh race on saturday at night n got pretty pumped up n decided to head to Reclamation on sunday then....tot ill meet some members frm here as well but....i never registered then to drop a line to the gang.

Got there at 1100 just to end up being held on the way to the spectators enclosure. Well after a few phone calls ended up in the vip enclosure but just passing the parking area i was not tooo interested in the race then.....most of the fun was over by then actually. So went click happy wid my cam and clicked a few snaps. Posting a few of the better 1s here. I know its kinda late but more pics of these machines wont hurt

Cheers!!!

->P
