Hi guys,

Putting up some pix (800x600, all under 100K) of the Autocross. These are ones of the qualifying that happened today and Sunday is raceday. Will post more pix tomorrow.

manticore, hi !! Looked for u b4 leaving but cudnt spot u !!! Left just b4 the prize distribution .... did u see the laps karamjit did in the end ?? The guy just flew on the track ... lol !! I spoke to him during the session he had with the drivers and everyone was asking him about lil tricks of the trade and I popped a question to him totally off-beat .. " I asked him as to whom did he think in India out of the present or past rally drivers did he feel had the talent to be on the WRC ? " And as I had expected he replied promptly with out even flinching that if it wasnt for stupid ****ing politics, Hari Singh and Naren Kumar have/had the talent to b huge on the international scene ... He also said that its very sad that inspite of such big companies and loads of money around in this country no one is serious about promoting motor sports . .

Anyways it was a thrill to watch him fly around in the poor lil esteem ... and this was the first time in his life that he was driving a front wheel drive car -- I wonder wat timings he wud have clocked if he had more time to get accustomed to this poor lil car ... ;-)

khaadu, got myself a vantage point at the prize distribution thingy, way up front. lookd around for u and autopsyche after that, but guess u guys had left by then. and wht they said was karam still had the best timings of the day, inspite of his driving a fwd car for the first time. some more pix comin up later. cheers.

An RD converted to a cruiser. hmmmm. Not too sure about that.

Nice pics there and Karam showing up looks like a bonus! I would have loved to see him attack the course.

Rtech, Trust me it was a TREAT 2 watch him attack the course !! Inspite of driving a front wheel car for the first time he made it seem as if he has been driving an esteem all his life ... Was he impressive or was he impressive -- it was a day out for him ...lol
