Wow! Speechless.

In fact, it took a while for ppl there to start cheering them on.
The entire crowd went speechless at the sheer speed & presence of these beauties.
And it wasnt just the F1 car, the Meganes can rip!

Here's the 1st ( and smallest vid i have.. many more to come)

Thanks for the videos and photos. You guys in Dellhi sure are lucky. Saw the show on DD and was amazed at what they were up to. Only one question, why did Renault bring their 07 F1 car?

My guess is that because 07 was the year where they last had traction control. You could hear it crackling away to glory when Nelson was performing donuts and also on his launches.

Waiting for them to drool over.
Seems Suman wasnt that happy with the lens and heard he is gonna upgrade the lens asap

This is how CNN IBN thinks of Nelson's doughnuts.

IBNLive > Photogallery

" Rotating the rear of the car around the front wheels continuously, the drivers created circular skid marks. "

Had a great time, THANKS KHAADUcheers: for the passes; we were alongside the Media enclosure, next to the VVIP enclosure, diagonally opposite the Renault enclosure. Got to see some real entertaining stuff & kids had a ball getting interviewed by a few of the news channels. Kudos to the organisers for doing a pretty good job - I thought the Police put on a good show as well, considering the sensitivity of the venue.

A day well spent in great weather, though the old bones were complaining by the time I got back home. Had to get rid of the aches & pains by grabbing a hot shower & knocking back a few 60 ml ones

This was more because of the fact that I'd put it on continuous shooting mode - so, there are frame-by-frames of the donuts & other such stunts. Will post in a day or two but don't expect "drool" quality as I was just getting used to the feel of the camera & basically enjoying myself.

The kit lens is simply great but I definitely missed a 55-250 or similar, particularly when the stunts were going on a little distance away from us......so yes, that purchase is on the cards.
