Rally cover insurance is only motorsports involving public roads. This is a closed circuit event and also nobody would ever demand for a Rally cover for a Drag race.
I just checked with an insurace company, they have no clue of what I'm talking.

Guys, there is a possibility of me coming to HYD for the event. Though i am not making any promises, it might happen. Though i will not be coming any time before Saturday evening. So if someone can pick me up from the Airport on Saturday and take me with them on Sunday, i will be grateful. Again, as of now, it is speculation.

Just to add a few words of knowledge for everyones benefit: The organizers have sorted out the Supplimentary Regulations confusion. Well, there are seperate categories for Nitrous, Natural Aspiration and other Forced Induction cars...simply, similar to the Speed Run rules. I received a telephone confirmation of this straight from one of the organizers today evening. Hope this helps.

Pls let me know if any of us wants to learn anything else...

If the timing equipment is still a problem and you have another postponement you can contact me offline. It is a pity that events get postponed many times due to this.

For the AutoX at Delhi we use Xmas tree start lights with display triggered guided parking at start zone width less than 0.2 meter plus auto trigger on jump starts. The end is light beam triggered. The whole system is linked directly to AV output where real time outputs are displayed for spectators other competitors in live feed. Timing accuracy of 1/100 second.

Where do we get tickets for this event? Or is this going to be free for spectators?

I see very little publicity for this event even though it is one of a kind event for Hyderabad. Not a single mention in any of the newspapers. Most of the discussions seem to be restricted only to forums like this!

Hi folks, just called up Mr. Venkat Rao. There is no need to buy any tickets for the visitors.

Yes watashi, I agree on the publicity. Though there is a very little publicity I am sure the turn out would be a good one. May be the organisers want only the cream not the crowd.

So how many are coming to this event from other cities? Lets have a look at this thread who showed interest as visitors and as participants:

HYDERABAD:

1. kkr2k2(visitor)

BANGALORE:

CHENNAI:

Any other places, please add the place name and your team-bhp id and your name under it.

@DKG, are we team-bhpians getting any special passes??? or a separate section???
