TSD rally in Hyderabad this Sunday

Saw this news on paper today. There is a TSD rally organized by APMSC, GMR and Novotel this Sunday. Venue is at Shamshabad.

I think I should mention that I read the article in Hindu. Some more information is here -APMSC

APMSC needs to do something about PR. Even for Deccan Quarter Mile there was very less publicity.

- Can Cars & Bikes Participate?

It is Time, Speed & Distance Rally for cars alone and is on public road ..... The participants would have to maintain a specific average speed and time for each of the leg of the rally.

You can get the details at Andhra Pradesh Motor Sports Club

Registration cost of 2K I believe

Similar to the rally that Hyundai folks conducted specifically for i10 Kappa owners a couple of months ago.

They invited me but didnt want to spoil a lazy sunday by getting into a TDS rally

TDP stands for Telugu desam Party right??

Thanks Ardy, that saved me some typing!

For Hyderabadis, Time-Speed-Distance could be the toughest type of rally. Imagine open roads with Sunday traffic and you are asked to maintain an average speed of 40!

I believe this rally is for beginners. I would have loved to participate but then family commitments come first.
