Surely it is not a real rally car, a faithful reproduction perhaps?

Big Bazaar @ Lower Parel, Phoenix Mill.
A the entrance of Big Bazaar, the car is there on a display, but in half !!

Does Skoda screw around with the people who use these cars also? Replace original parts with fakes so that in the middle of a special stage, the engine blows up?

NO, actually that's what happens to a Skoda Rally Car when it reaches a competent Skoda Service center

Its actually a Skods Octavia WRC car, just for a commercial purpose; I think they hav cutted it in 2 halves !!

Saw this at Pheonix mills / big bazaar in Mumbai a few weeks back. It was at night so i was unable to take any pictures.

Yes!

Infact i think they have used some sort of cement mix as dirt, so that it is permanent!

It is very interesting to look at all the sections of the car. Definitely worth going to check it out if you're interested in that sort of thing.

This is an Ex- WRC car. Its been ages since Skoda competed in the WRC.
Although they've prepared a Fabia for the first Rally 2000 class ,next year onwards.
