Had been to the event today, needless to say it was GREAT.

Car no. 42 (Pink coloured one) lost a wheel and still completed the whole stage. Another car that was coming behind was honking away to glory only to come sideways at the finish for a fight for not getting its way. The guy in 42 was too gutsy, hats off to him for completing as well as holding the other guy behind for the whole stage driving with just three wheels (However, bad luck for the other car whose number I don't remember).

While coming back, spotted car 33 and waved at him. Good luck memo for tomorrow as well as to all other T-bhpins who are participating in the event.

As a rule, when caught by a faster car on stage, the slower car has to immediately move aside and let him pass even if it means moving aside and stopping. So no hats off to foolhardy driving by 42. He should be penalised infact.

AFAIK, no Vtecs ran at all. However, this time, the participation in Gypsy class is overwhelming with 8 cars starting and close to all of them finished on day 1.

Had a fantastic day out with Riju yesterday, Left by 7:45 and reached the venue at 10:00 after breakfast, had to walk a distance of 3 kms (one way) to catch the jumps, literally got burnt in the sun. Missed the Red Roosters.

Dilip, thats a fantastic shot of the Gypsy in mid air. Flashy cars, dirt and some sideways action do make these events a brilliant photo op. Awaiting more pics from you and Riju. The lenses must have had quite a nightmare with all that dust around.

Memo finished SS6 with a timing of 54:03. No updates on his timing from SS7. Is his car running or has he retired?

If we actually could collect the dust from our lenses we would have been successful in making a small pyramid. The dust was terrible.
