Any news of what the final route for Raid is going to be after the rain havoc in that region? I was trying to see if the site is updated but all I got was "waiting for site" response....is it only me or others too?

Okay rdh4.com pointer is not working. HIMALAYAN MOTORSPORT OFFICIAL WEBSITE works and it shows update in route would be done in a day or two.

Note from the Team-BHP Support Team : Please use the "edit" button if posting within 20 minutes of the first post, instead of creating another back-to-back post.

Sudev Sir,

Are you participating or going as a official in RDH this year? (silly question I know, but you cannot expect more from a child)

I am in for the camp... now when we have purchased GPS, "ab to seekhna hi padega"

Somebody told me that only Extreme Cars will start from Chandigarh and all the adventure cars will start from Shimla... But the RDH website is showing start of Adventure from Chandigarh... Any Idea!

I have prepared a list (not exhaustive) of materials that one should carry in car for the TSD guys. Help me build it up by your suggestions:

Pens
  • Lots of them
  • Different colours
Neck band
  • Hold keys
  • Pens
LED Torch
Stop Watch
Calculator with time function
Spiral Note book(s)

Exam Fatta
  • Size it properly. Cut it to comfortable size
  • Safe & Strong Clasp
  • Two or three
  • With Velcro tape to hold the calculator / GPS
Velcro Tape roll

Rubber Bands
  • Use on sun visor
  • Best place to keep time card
  • Few pens
To keep documents
  • Clear A4 Plastic Pockets
  • A3 cloth envelope
  • Plastic file cover
Cello Tape
Brown Tape
Coleen
  • Use this a wind shield cleaner
  • Also helps in putting the stickers properly
Dusters
Swiss knife or such
Small Card board box
  • Cover edges with brown tape
  • Keep all loose items and knick knacks
Insulation tape
Tool
  • Only minimal tools should be kept
  • They are heavy
  • There is hardly any time for major repairs

Unfortunately no news currently..last heard regarding their standing was at the end of Day 1, when Ashish Moudhgill and his WR 450 were ahead of the fastest Austrian by over 10 minutes!!

Another unfortunate news was from Day 2, Nick Sarao, (last years runner-up) crashed his Yamaha WR 450 and is out of the event with a fractured knee. Gagandeep Rekhi (Pulsar) also crashed and broke his wrist.

This is all information collected from various sources and channels, the Raid website has no updates beyond Day 1 and the event is in no-cellular-connect-land since the past two days..

Rajnish, weren't you supposed to be participating in the Raid?
