Guys,

this is a fantastic event. I participated in the one hosted in Surat on 17th Jan 2010.

We didnt make it in top 3 though my wife and her sister's came 1st in the ALL LADIES class.

there are some fantastic do's and dont's that we learnt that day. We were 4 in a car + the Blind Navigator.
1. Driver
2. Time calculator
3. Navigator
4. Route translator (would sit next to the blind and make notes of the routes as dictated by the Blind man)

It was one hell of an experience driving at times on 20 KMPH and at times ruching through rough roads at 70 KMPH maintaing the time. And the loop holes created by the marshals and the organisers.

One advise from me to all " DONT FOLLOW ANY CAR, JUST GO BY THE ROUTE"

Wish you guys all the best. Enjoy.

guys, i've not yet sent my entry in.

I need to wait for the status on my entry into another event before confirming (or not) for the 7th Feb rally. Hopefully will get to know one way or another tomorrow.

Hey Dippy, this is a nice initiative for a good cause. Do you guys have any plans of conducting any event in Bangalore? I would love to participate for this kind of events.

Team BHP isn't organizing this.

Vinayvtec,

As flyinspur mentioned, Team-BHP has no part in the organization of the event, but hopefully a large part in the participation

As for a similar event in Bangalore, please refer to this old thread and perhaps email one of the Bangalore organizers asking about future events :

Sending my entry in today. Why are there less participants this time?

Saturday is the 6th. Ideally it's great if you show up on the briefing day since that's the day you get your navigator.

Flyingspur,

Given that you did come for the rally (and pair-up event) last year - i'm guessing you might get away with this.

If you're not going to make it on Sat - give me a call closer to the time and i will figure out who your navigator is and talk to him on your behalf.

Similar issues like Flyingspur, have slightly uncertain travelling plans for next week which should mostly get ironed out in a day or two.
Rehaan, could you possibly check if RTI could hook me up with the same navigator as last year just incase I can't make it for the briefing on Saturday.

manson.
