I went to the track yesterday and I got a good spot on the terrace of the scrutiny bay. I had a good view of the first corner and the action was hectic. I missed the first bike race, but I saw the 600 cc bike and Formula 1600 race and most of the stunt bike show.

David Jones was clearly a class above the rest in the 600cc. I bet he must have been bored by the end. Hats off to Alisha Abdullah who was the lone lady rider in the field.

How old is Ashwin Sundar? He looked like a 12 yr old kid to me. But he drove well to win the Formula 1600.

The stunt bike show was too good. I had moved to the dividers between the track and the pits by then and I had a good view of all the action.

Naresh Iyer's (and gang) singing and dancing was a huge embarrasment. The less said, the better. The MC could also have kept his trap shut for some time and allowed us to hear the exhaust notes better.

The two Fiesta safety cars were awesome. They were doing some unreal speeds after exiting out of the first corner. The acceleration was mind boggling and I think they could have kept up with even the Formula 1600 cars. Does anyone know what kind of mods they were running on?

Pics from the saloon car category race. I hope someone posts more pics from the stunt show too. The stunt guys were Americans.

Are they performing this coming weekend?. I barely made it towards the end of the show last Sunday and i'd like to see them again, if possible.

No, they were hired for last weekend only. It looks like you have an all access pass. Can you get us more pics of the Fiesta and videos if possible?

Thanks for info.I should have gone there earlier last Sunday. re: 'all access' the answer is none. Just walked around and no one stopped me and no more pics of the Fiesta or videos. Sorry!.This was the first event at the MMRT that was well attended by the public and organized and i'm surprised that there's not much interest among the T-bhp community, especially attendance. Almost none at the event!.

Re: MRF International challenge

Was lucky enough to meet James Hunt's son Freddie Hunt on Monday, who's here for the MRF Challenge this weekend.

Re: MRF International challenge

^ Haha, if you put it that way, Maldonado must be having a lot of friends

I agree, Though we only talked for about 5 minutes, he seemed to be a very cool guy. Infact, he was the one who asked me if I wanted a picture

I'll come to the races possibly on Saturday but definitely on Sunday.
Are you also racing this weekend? Hope I'll see you there!
