where's the meeting point and what time? Am tempted to join in and watch you guys have fun :)

Also whats the plan like, halt at Chennai post the event or return the same day ?

Guys will be there by 11:45. Trying to find a set of smaller 14 inch tyre's for my car as this tyre scrapes the fender while turning hard.

I will be joining you guys as well with the Lancer. My neck is a little sore and sholud hopefully be ok by Sunday. But I will be there.

Let me also talk to a few people and see if we can hook up the cars with transponders, so that we can have timing also. However, strictly no racing will be permitted and I will not think twice before I pull someone off from the track for bad driving.

Like BikerSG has said, this is only pay n practice and there are no safety measures in place. It's a fun event and I seriously recomend leaving your ego at home.

The pit wall is also equipped with display points. Will try and get a TV which we can hook up and get live timng.

We have mivec lancer, vikram's turbo swift and lot and lots of people.
If even half of the folks in the list shows up we are gonna have "traffic jam" on track. :Shockked:

I just got my spongy braked fixed. I was telling the folks that ever since the service was over I feel there is air in the system. They were shocked to see the amount of air in the system and I was relieved that its fixed - finally.

Can't hardly wait till Sunday.

Any chaps from in and around Thorapiakkam / Perungudi / Velachery ?

ok, i have spoken with the chief time keeper, Ajay and he has very kindly agreed to be at the track on Sunday, so yes looks like all of you can hook up transponders to the cars.

Is my 3 year old Indica xeta petrol allowed in the track????
If not, i will just come and be the audience...

A first hand experience of the track
technical inputs on driving, braking, turning etc in the track

From my previous PnP experience:
Documents to carry - Nothing extra, License would do.
Total cost involved - Will leave this to the organizers
Preferably a single consolidated checklist of what to have / not to have in the car - Carry nothing extra in the car. I am dumping even the sub, However I am carrying the spare tyre & jack (fastened) for any urgent.

I am trying to get my car to top-shape... I am changing the weak lower arm, both the drive shafts, suspension mounts, brake pads and liners, all the fluids (no synthetic oil though :Frustrati ). Hope she behaves well on the track & I get to have fun (& learn a lot)! Leaning on all the gurus to improve my skills... Can't wait!

Wow, that's quite a list! Even if 36 odd cars turn up at the venue, can all of them get onto the track at the same time? Or will it be like 10 cars only at a time only?

Can the Cars from the south side meet up somewhere on the way to the track ? probably Tidel@ 10.30 am ?
