INRC nasik round in may 2010

INRC nasik round is coming up in may from 8th to 10th as per the inintial reports .
any more information if anybody have please write your views . i am looking for either a cedia or jepsy to take part in it . can they be hired for the event only ? please advice

Depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Basically they are at two ends of the Group N cost scale. Dont know whether you can hire a Gypsy or Cedia (check rally.co.in).

But is your interest out of the need for the experience or do you really want to make a mark. Cause if you build either of them to competitive specs, then it would be a waste to use it for one round a year.

But if you still want to go ahead with a build, go for the Gypsy, as you can take part in the other major one off events in India like the Raid de Himalaya & Desert Storm. Also you can use it for one off INRC events.

Gypsy wont cost much to prepare. Get in touch with "JeepCaptain" or "Jeepster 4x4". They have prepared Gypsy's for rallying.

Can anyone tell me how can I volunteer for this event? I had read in local newspapers that people interested in role of marshal are invited. Any idea?

Get in touch with the motorsports club in Kerala (google their phone no.). They'll help you with info regarding marshalling.

Better to look up details of the club/organisation conducting this event from FMSCI website and try contact them.

ok , good , found a fully prepaired gypsy in very good condition . i think will bring it within 5 days . lets see , how it works out . need to apply for licence right now .

@ sudev, SPIKE ARRESTOR is from "Gods own country". if he means "local", then i dont think it means INRC Nasik.

5 Lks fully prepaired , roll cage , new ecm , vehicle is 3 years old and done 35000kms .

Oops, sorry for causing confusion

. I am from Kerala but working in Nasik, hence so, anyways thanks for your suggestions.

i think the round has either been postponed or cencelled .

Get in touch with Chettinad sporting. I believe you can do an 'arrive and drive' program with them where they take care of everything logistics, service backup etc. I would suggest you start with RSC Esteem and not a Gypsy. Team Kari is also another option.
