Got to attend the 8th International Jawa Day celebrations that morning at Mahabs with Roaring Riders Madras, hope we would return by 11 AM

I will bring my OHC vtec to the track.

regarding the tyres, its on new bridgestone ones, will it be able to bear the brunt?

Video here is one from the last trackday. One of the second set of laps. At the end of the day was faster by around 7 seconds than in this video (that's what Manek's 800 can do to you). My car was a stock Zen with 96k Kms so you can guess what power it makes. Its not about how much bhp its how you use the bhp.

Watch out around 1:50 spun Ikon. If I was't looking well ahead would't have been nice.
But there things are nothing compared to driving on the "real" roads.
That is the exact reason why trackdays are "FUN"

Thats the point. We aren't running Imprezzas, so high octane wont make a diff to regular low compression engines.

I've been running my car on IOC regular fuel (which i will also be using on track) and it feels exactly the way IOC 91 did.

Its not worrying. I am most confident i will be faster than atleast one car on the track (chikku's zen) Just kidding chikku

.Let's hope i can kick some butt like you in my car with a new K&N filter(It defenitely feels faster in the city after the change).

Hi,

Any hi-octane would do! I am not sure about the difference cuz I am running on the stock ecu, had this been the RD ecu then there surely would have been a big difference.

Don't assume so.
Chikku's zen(in its current avatar) can be faster than a vtec on the track.
Thats what I love about the track. Unlike an highway, it brings out the skill for the world to see.
