Hey...I was at Beanstalk today and they had no idea. They have no forms and no idea when the forms are in!

Dom, I know you're not organising, but could you find out if these guys plan to get the forms across? Otherwise there is no way to register.

Also, more importantly, what's the stand on the one-day insurance for vehicle and driver? Do we need to get it ourselves or will the organisers provide it on the spot? We need these sorted out immediately because a lot of these companies only work half-day on Saturday, and none on Sunday...

OT: My 1000th post has come on a drag thread!!!

I couldn't go today, but I just got a report from the field by my cousin. Apparently that place is like Kumbh Mela, way too many people. Thanks to free entry to all spectators. Mostly he saw back of heads of people ahead of him.

Eagering awaiting reports and photos from members who had better luck.

Worse than that, cars started only at 2.30. People were all over the track. Security guys sleeping on the job. The organisers had to resort to drive down, waving sticks at people. Cars were a disappointment, crazy matching - turbo esteem vs modded Honda Accord, Honda city vs Octy VRS.

What was appalling were stupid people doing hand brake turns, donuts in wet mud, bikes dragging without helmets n, in the promity of other people traffic.

Badly organisec and a pathetic waste of time Rudra and I decided, these events are not worth it unless it is well organised. i.e autocar one was good - most of the fun was watching Gautam Singhania being tripped up by a Peugeot
