Hi All,

Here are the details of the 24th SJOBA Thunderbolt Rally that would start from Chandigarh.

I would be participating in this rally.

Date & TimeFriday, March 25, 2011 at 9:00am - March 27, 2011, at 6:00pm
LocationChandigarh - Shimla - Chandigarh

More InfoAs always, there will be the 4W/2W/TSD Rallies running concurrently. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Entries open – 21 February, 2011
Closing Date for Standard Entries - 15 March, 2011
Closing of late entries – 21 March, 2011

Scrutiny and SSS - 25 March
Leg 1 (Chandigarh to Shimla) - 26 March, 2011
Leg 2 (Shimla to Chandigarh) - 27 March, 2011
PD and Dinner - 28 March, 2011

Route:
The Rally will run six Competitive Stages each day. Six brand new stages have been added for this year's Rally.

Leg 1:
Chandigarh - Trilokpur - Morni - Badisher - Thapli - Mallah - Bhojnagar - Ashinikhad - Jhaja - Chail (Lunch) - Chhalanda - Tehra - Koti Village - Koti Resorts.

Leg 2:
Koti Resorts - Thailla - Narel - Matiana - Mohri - Sainj - Tiyali - Jaghed - Chhalanda - Chail (Lunch) - Gaura - Bhojnagar - Chakki Ka Mor - Chandigarh

Great to know that you will be participating in the SJOBA rally this year harishvinayak.
I came 3rd in the same rally in the year 1997 driving a Maruti800. Then in the year 1999, my car engine caught fire and I had to abandon the competition.
I was unable to participate further as medical studies took their toll.
I would love to meet you when you come to Chandigarh for vehicle inspection. Kindly do inform me regarding your plans. My mobile number is 9872673030.

every year,i am there at the flag off and for special Stages.

WOW thats great janjua. Our motorsporting interests are going in the opposite way , You did rallying first before getting into long distance drives and i'm exactly the opposite. Would look forward to meet you buddy.

Thanks guys. I was recently in Chandigarh to take part in the OYA JK Tyre autocross in the month of Jan. Will definitely meet you guys when im there for SJOBA

I will be part of this rally as well after a very long period, also wishing everyone partiscipating gud luck.
@Jittu its amazing that you are taking part after your crash.. Hats off to you.
@My little bro saintsinner is gearing up for the 1st time in extreme category, Gud luck.

We all are planning to reach Chandigarh on 24th evening. So we have enough time to plan a meet.

Guys - I'm extremely sorry that i would not be coming for SJOBA as i could not manage leaves as i recently took a week off for the Storm :(.

I have 2 offers as a navigator but unfortunately no leaves.
