Audi A1 comes to Dubai

guys expect an early launch of A1 in dubai as these two cars were spotted doing their runs in Dubai.

since Fiat 500 and Mini are already pretty popular in the UAE, expect the same from these Audi A1s.

Love this car. Adore the looks. Has some really juicy Tsi engines.
As always, Mini vs A1 would be an interesting rivalry

What do you guys think it will be priced like? what range?

Now that is what I call a cool hatch this side of the Mini Cooper. In India its a far fetched dream, not in near future, may be by 2012 end or 2013. First one has to come and BMW has made a good start with X1, but only when 1 series comes here only than we can expect the A1 following. Actually BMW is the most likely to be there first in this segment, mini cooper and than 1 series, either way. A1 or mini cooper or the 1 series cannot be priced less than 18 to 22 lakhs.

Ah, I'll have to keep a watch for the A1 on the roads to see if I can spot one. Does look good. Kind of like the straightened version of the latest Fiat 500 though

! Atleast thats what I can see from the photos. Again, I don't think the A1 will be a feasible project in India since hatchbacks primarily don't sell much above a price band. Could be wrong and with the changing dynamics, things could turn otherwise. But I am sure Audi will be cautious about the A1's launch in India considering its group's VW Beetle didn't do too well due to its pricing.
