Default Is Ford Closing 12 Plants in US???

Today I was in a hurry to leave to office and heard in the local news head lines that Ford US is planning to close 12 manufacturing plants and laying off the employees.

Did any one heard of this?

Yes the news is true but Ford is not closing 12 plants but 14 and laying off almost 30,000 people. Read about the news here. Ford is also pulling the plug on it's mini-van the Freestar/Windstar.
