For 2006, it's just the new XK that's coming. A supercharged version of the same is expected later (probably in 2007) and that is supposed to be followed by an all aluminium S-Type.

Only the aluminium XJ saloon is on the road.
Deliveries of the aluminium XK coupe and convertible start only this year.
The S-Type is an E Class sized saloon which is still not made in aluminium. That's Ian Callum's next project.

the new XK is growing on me and it seems like a good alternative to BMW 6..I know XKR would never be even close to an M6 but it would be quite a bit cheaper and still pretty quick. I like the new interiors of the jag they are nice..love the whole flow of lines on the XK except the headlamps..thats the only thing I would love to change other than that this car for the price is nice..a good alternative..

and I believe next year we should see the S type in auto shows and production should make it by late 2007 or early 2008 or so..

I wouldn't count it out just yet. Remember the BMW M6 is a heavy and complicated machine. The XK will be light. We've seen what a light 997 Carrera S can do with just 355bhp. The M6 with over 500bhp may be fast in a straight line but, the Porsche 911 remains the definitive sports coupe.

Check out the Top Gear Series where they time the M6 Vs AMV8 Vs 911 S (which has 100 bhp less) on the demanding Isle of Man TT route driven by the Stig and the Porker creamed them all

Jaguar XK Exterior Styling Pack:

Jaguar has announced the Exterior Styling Pack for its XK model range and will be available from March 2007.

The new XK Exterior Styling Pack consists of a front valance, rear valance, upper and lower mesh grilles in a choice of bright or black finish, sill appliqués as well as new exhaust tailpipe finishers.
As with all of the body styling packages, engineering integrity has been maintained.
