Hi,
I recently visited Lake George in New York where the "Americade" was being held. It is one of the largest motorcycle rallys of the world with over 50,000 participants. On display were America's finest and noisiest choppers with plenty of Harley Davidsons, Hondas, custom bikes and the like.
I got a ton of pictures and videos. Here are some.
Trikes-Yikes
Truly Victorious
This Honda Goldwing comes with its own music system and GPS navigation as standard. Vow!!
For the seasoned bike traveller
The Jap stable
Was that a Ninja?
May be custom bikes
A Boulevard beauty.
And those night time fireflies.

Re: Americade :: The world's largest motorcycle rally
The thing I realized about Honda Goldwings is that they sound nothing like a Harley or even an Enfield. The Hondas however mighty they appear in the looks department, sounded too refined and sophisticated, almost like a car engine or an electric scooter (took me by surprise). May be they took the civic's engine, chopped it off in half and installed it in the Goldwing. I mean no offence to Honda lovers (I am one of them). But the fact is that they didn't sound imposing at all. In fact even the BMWs and Ducati's I saw also sounded smooth and high revving (like a sports car, well they are sports bikes anyway).
Those Harleys, Victorys, custome bikes, etc sounded so intimidating and brought out the "wow" factor for me.
