Fiat is one of the biggest companies in Italy, making a big contribution to its economy.

He has also begun selecting a single executive team to oversee the companies' business operations, said people familiar with the matter. Currently, Fiat and Chrysler each has its own team of 25 executives who separately report to him.
-Improving the CAFE ratings (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) of the gas guzzlers from Chrysler Motors he said was among his priorities."The Chrysler 300 will get 31 mpg on the highway when equipped with a V-6 engine and a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The 300 it replaced got 27.5 mpg when equipped with a V-8. The U.S. new car fleet must reach an average of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025, double the current standard." he said.
