Re: Pics of weird and wacky mod jobs!

If ever there would be an award for the most wacky mod ever, this car would walk away with it hands down!

It looks as if a mischievous child pinched it's nose too hard! Strangely modified cars from around the World-image.jpg

Atrocious! Really Atrocious!

Going by the glasshouse and silhouette, I'm going to say that it's a Chevrolet Corvette C5 underneath.

No way it's Pontiac Firebird. It is too big to be Firebird.

Re: Strangely modified cars from around the World

It is a corvette C5. However, i really don't understand why owners go through all this trouble to make a good car worse? Or is it that our tastes are bad? I really have no idea on how i should interpret these designs. To each is own is the safest way i presume. lol

Nitrous, Firebirds have been generally been bigger than Corvettes. I thought this could be a 4th gen Firebird which too is bigger than the C5. But doesn't matter either way!

Thanks for correction. I actually got confused between Firebird and Solstice, somehow.

Chris Brown does it again, after the Gallardo, he has done this to his Aventador.

Re: Strangely modified cars from around the World

On second thoughts, it could be a Firebird. But somehow it still looks like a 'Vette. Thing is, it's a body kit that's supposed to exaggerate the existing lines of the car. The C5 and this car share some of those design cues.

Comparing it to the car that's parked next to it, it becomes increasingly hard to set my "Corvette C5" guess in stone. It looks rather large and tall for what is essentially a low slung sports car.

I guess it hasn't hit him yet.

Re: Strangely modified cars from around the World

Suhaas ji, i could also find a bit of a semblance with the dodge viper GTS on the red car once i look at the front hood to windshield area which is kind of similar but i have a feeling its a vette. Who in the right mind would do that to a car @ the snake car or SAR.

This guy is the backup in case the stadium lights for the night's baseball game fails. Agreed that the impreza is a rally car and it may need fogs...but this is going to light up more than the road
